SQL is Bad, Ok?

Updated: Jul 30, 2019

So up until now, we've had an API Server providing some central functions. At SQL (Structured Query Language) is like an old friend. I grew up writing patent-able solutions on SQL Server. So to kick of, we built a standard REST API server talking to SQL.

It's the same as the files in the image above. SQL has served its purpose and is being retired. For storage of Blocks and Addresses, we're going to use Azure functions, and are going server-less.

For code compilation (all a part of the node), we're also going server-less.

See you next month and lets look at the performance changes.
